We’ll delist CBT Centres aiding Examination Malpractices – JAMB

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

At a press briefing in Abuja, the JAMB Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede said the results of 1,951, 811 candidates were released while 39, 834 results remain unreleased for alleged examination malpractices, out of which 1,426 results are under scrutiny and processing.

He revealed that eighty suspects were being interrogated by the police for various infractions during the examination and if found guilty, would be prosecuted.

Oloyede also observed that some Computer based Centers were aided in examination malpractices and has vowed to ensure that such centres are delisted, blacklisted and prosecuted.

Professor Oloyede said Anambra State topped the list of suspects with 14, followed by Lagos State with 9.

The Registrar said the results of the underage candidates are still being analysed to ascertain the few exceptional candidates.
