By Admin

Social media influencer Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has been re-arraigned before the Federal High Court in Abuja on charges of alleged cyberbullying. The case, presided over by Justice Musa Liman, involves accusations that VDM bullied several prominent figures, including actresses Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh, as well as musician and producer Samklef.

According to the charges, VDM is accused of posting threatening and bullying remarks about Samklef on Instagram in October 2023. He is also alleged to have published offensive content about Iyabo Ojo, accusing her of having an inappropriate relationship with her daughter, and made accusations against Tonto Dikeh regarding the misappropriation of funds and being behind the Gistlover blog.

Additionally, VDM is accused of posting insulting content about senior police officers, including Deputy Inspectors-General (DIGs), and lawmakers.

VDM pleaded not guilty to all the charges. His lawyer requested that he be allowed to continue on the bail terms granted earlier by Justice Mobolaji Olajuwon, which was not opposed by the prosecution counsel.

Justice Liman admitted VDM to the earlier bail terms, which required a ₦10 million bond and two sureties. The case has been adjourned until July 24 for trial.
