The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council, Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila Orangun, FUHSI, Professor Wale Sulaiman, CON, has extended his felicitation to the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi Salihu, on the occasion of his 40th birthday anniversary.
In a Statement personally signed by the President, RNZ Foundation, Prof. Sulaiman described the Speaker as a shining symbol of youthful leadership, legislative tact with collaborative spirit, who has proven to be a disciplined and steady leader with a remarkable sense of duty.
The statement reads: Prof. Sulaiman describes the Speaker as “a shining symbol of youthful leadership, legislative tact, and collaborative spirit,” noting his impressive record of fostering unity and stability within the State Assembly.
“At just 40, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi Salihu has proven to be a disciplined and steady leader with a remarkable sense of duty. His steady leadership and capacity for consensus-building within the House have been instrumental in driving policies that impact the lives of Kwarans across all sectors,” Prof. Sulaiman stated.
He also lauded the Speaker for being a good role model for youths of Kwara state.
The World renowned Neurosurgeon maintained that under the leadership of Engr. Danladi Salihu the house has supported legislatures that promoted youth and gender inclusiveness in governance, education, and infrastructural development in Kwara State.
“I join the Kwara APC Family, constituents, and well-wishers in celebrating this milestone, and I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) continues to grant him wisdom, strength, and long life in service to the people,” he added.
