The Kebbi State Government has announced an 11-day school closure across all public and private institutions to mark the 2025 Eid-el-Kabir (Sallah) celebrations.
The directive, issued via an official circular from the Ministry for Basic and Secondary Education, was signed by Abubakar Jabbo, Director of Quality Assurance. The school break will start Wednesday, June 4, and continue until Sunday, June 15, 2025.
According to the circular, the extended holiday is to allow Muslim students and staff enough time to observe and enjoy the religious festival without academic pressure.
