The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila Orangun, Osun State, and President of the RNZ Foundation, Prof. Wale Sulaiman, CON, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Deputy Senate Leader and Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Oyelola Yisa Ashiru, on the occasion of his 70th birthday anniversary.
In his message, Prof. Sulaiman described Senator Ashiru as “a committed democrat and an exemplary grassroot politician whose passion for service has been displayed over decades. He strives for effective representation of the good people of kwara south.”
He commended the Senator’s remarkable contributions to the advancement of agriculture and infrastructure in communities. “From recent empowerment of farmers and to the provision of vital community infrastructure (especially in his home town Offa), Senator Ashiru’s projects are a testament to his dedication to people-centered governance,” Prof. Sulaiman remarked.
Prof. Sulaiman further applauded Senator Ashiru’s steadfast commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, describing him as a lawmaker who not only aligns with national goals but actively works to realize them.
He prays for Senator Ashiru’s continued good health, wisdom, and fruitful years ahead. “May you be granted many more years of impactful leadership, peace of mind, and strength to serve our people and our nation,” he said.
