The kidnapped Legal Adviser, Oke – Ero Local Government Area, Kwara State, Barrister Omoladun Elizabeth Arinde and the council’s Director of Personnel Management, Alhaji Musibau Amuda have regained freedom.
In an appreciation message issued by the Executive Chairman of Oke – Ero Local Government Area, James Abiodun Fadipe on Monday, said both council officials returned safely in good health and have reunited with their families.
James Fadipe extended the council’s appreciation to Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and the leadership of ALGON for their steadfastness and support during the challenging period.
He lauded efforts of the security operatives, religious leaders, traditional rulers, political leaders, party men and women, and all who stood by them while the trial lasted.
“May the Almighty God continue to bless you all abundantly. We remain committed to working together for the continued peace, progress, and development of our local government.
In this moment of joy, we offer prayers for continued protection and success for all. May God grant us peace, unity, and progress as we continue to serve our people”, he said.
The duo were kidnapped on Friday, April 25, 2025, while traveling from Oke-Ero to Ilorin, the state capital.
