An 18 year old boy, has allegedly impregnated no fewer than 10 girls in Anambra state.
The mother of the boy reported the matter to the Office of the Commissioner for Women Affairs in Awka, Anambra state.
The state commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Mrs Ify Obinabo has raised the alarm, seeking solution for the abnormality.
According to the Commissioner, two of the pregnant girls are his master’s daughter and sales girl, while the other eight were impregnated in his hometown after he was sent packing by his boss.
Mrs Obinabo in a live video she shared on social media was seeking advice from the public because the development was beyond her capacity.
“This problem is beyond me because of the boy’s age and the number of pregnant girls involved, that’s why I need help to solve it” Obinabo lamented.
The 18 year old boy was sent to learn trade , under his apprenticeship, he impregnated his boss’s daughter and his sales girl.
He was sent packing, two months after that, he impregnated 8 others in the village.
Narrating the incident, the mother of the 18 year old noted that anytime she sees a girl coming towards their house, her heart would jump having received several complaints from different girls.
When asked about the magic he uses in luring the girls to bed, he explained that he always tells them that he loves them and will like to marry them any time he acquires wealth.
Though the Commissioner did not disclose the community of the boy, nor the name of the mother while narrating the issues, Radio Nigeria correspondent Uche Ndeke reports that investigation reveals he hails from one of the communities in Awka North Local Government area.
